The Joyce Emergency Planning and Preparation Group is a branch of the Joyce Fire Department Auxiliary. The auxiliary is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed to promote the ability of Clallam County Fire Protection District No. 4 to provide effective and efficient service in response to man-made or natural disasters. The JEPP Group has organized a substantial cache of emergency supplies and equipment and made plans to open the Joyce Community Shelter to house those whose homes may be damaged following a major earthquake. JEPP has also trained a cadre of volunteers to provide temporary services in the Joyce Operational Area if or when a major disaster strikes, and general support until outside help becomes available. For more information, write to us at jepp.group@gmail.com.
